Under the Sea

After a long work week, I’m a big fan of the weekend treat and this time used the admission tickets I was given over Christmas to the Aquarium in the city.  Having never been to an aquarium before, I had no idea what to expect but I was hoping to find Nemo!

From octopus, crabs, and zebra fish I didn’t know where to look first. A large tunnel ran through the main tank giving you the feeling of being under water with all the sharks and fish. There were so many new creatures which I had never seen before! It’s crazy to believe that all those little (and big) guys live in the ocean. They are just casually swimming along while we visit the beach!

But enough about the fish. I decided to play up my eye make-up to match the day’s under water activities. I am not a big fan of colour eye shadow but I’m trying to branch out from my usual neutral eye. After digging through my pallets, I picked a couple of blue shadows to blend into a subtle smoky eye. Below are some pictures of my look and the products I used to achieve it. Please excuse the untamed eyebrows, I need to sort those boys out soon.
