Product Feature- Bright Eyes with Colourful Liner

When it comes to my make-up, I stick with what I know. For early mornings, I’ve mastered the neutral smoky eye and when I want to go a little bolder, I’ve got my routine dark lip. As I become more confident with makeup, the first thing I want to add to my looks is colour. The perfect way to achieve this – add a bright bold coloured liner to an otherwise neutral eye!

Now I can’t take all the creative credit for this idea. I was actually inspired by a Makeup Forever display on a recent trip to Sephora! The model had on matte blush pink eye shadow with bright blue shadow along the lower lash line. Opting for convenience, I picked up the Makeup Forever Artist Liner in Iridescent Turquoise (I22). I combined this with Nooner from the Naked 3. The liner glides on smoothly and has amazingly bright pigmentation. Colour stays bright all day and with no need to reapply! Super happy with this purchase!

IMG_2053I was hooked on my new blue liner and wanted to experiment more with a green. Since I loved the Makeup Forever liner I tested the colour Iridescent Green Tree (I33) but quickly found that the Sephora Collection Waterproof Contour Eye Pencil in 20 Good Mood Jade was almost identical. The green liner worked perfectly with Faint, a matte brown from the Naked Basics. The Sephora Collection pencil had comparable pigmentation and went on equally as smooth. I did find however that I had to reapply throughout the day. Over all it is still a great pencil and I would still recommend it.

Hope I could give you guys some inspiration!

Until next time,
Sarah x
